Institutional Master Plan Community Task ForceFor more than a decade, the University has been working with a Campus Task Force . The role of the Campus Task Force, comprised of Allston-Brighton residents and members of the business community, is to review the proposed Institutional Master Plan and make a recommendation about the adequacy of the plan to the BRA Board for approval. In addition, the Campus Task Force evaluates each campus project that qualifies for more detailed review to determine the consistency of the project with the Institutional Master Plan itself. In January, 2006, Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino announced a new Campus Task Force to serve as an advisory board to Harvard and the BRA as Harvard begins its institutional master planning process for the expanded Allston Campus. The current Task Force members are:
Meeting ScheduleMeetings occur on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. The schedule of meetings of the Harvard Allston Community Task Force has been posted here. Unless otherwise indicated, all meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Honan-Allston Branch Library , 300 North Harvard St., Allston (view map). Individual meetings may be cancelled or rescheduled as necessary. This schedule will be updated to reflect such changes whenever possible, but you may wish to call the Harvard Allston Development Group at 617-495-3525 to confirm individual meetings.
