Allston Science Complex Draft Impact ReportOn June 25, 2007, Harvard filed a Draft Project Impact Report (DPIR) with the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) for Harvard’s Allston Science Complex. The DPIR provides detailed analysis of the impacts the project will have on the immediate neighborhood and the City as a whole such as traffic and parking, environmental protection, design of the building, and proposed community benefits associated with the project. It is the second filing required by the City of Boston for the Large Project Review process following Harvard’s filing of the Project Notification Form (PNF) for the Science Complex in October 2006. The DPIR addresses questions and comments that were raised during the public comment period for the PNF, as well as at public meetings with the Allston community, and discussions with City agencies and elected officials. The BRA will accept comments on the DPIR until September 10, 2007.
